3 months forecasts for Daily Rainfall (mm/day) and its Anomalies

Predicted daily rainfall amounts (mm/day) are represented by the contour lines while colour shadings represent daily rainfall anomalies.

NB: The following is an average forecast for the combined months in August-September-October 2019. Which means that each specific month may have a deviated forecast condition from this average configuration. Thus, refer to the 1-month forecast below to have a precise and detailed forecast conditions for each individual month.  <br><br>    

3-months average forecast for daily rainfall and its anomalies for the combined months in August, September and October 2019 indicates that Western Province and Gulf will experience Normal daily rainfall. <br><br>

All of Highlands Region will be experiencing Normal daily rainfall. However, northern parts of Enga, Western Highlands Province, Chimbu and Eastern Highlands Province which are sharing border with East Sepik, Madang and Morobe are to experience Above Normal daily rainfall. <br><br>

Normal daily rainfall is predicted for Central Province, Milne Bay and Oro. <br><br>

Morobe Province will be experiencing Normal daily rainfall. However, most coastlines of Morobe are expected to experience Normal to Above Normal daily rainfall. <br><br>

Areas of Madang which are east from Madang town, including Madang town, are expected to experience Normal daily rainfall while areas which are west from Madang town are expected to experience Above Normal daily rainfall. <br><br>

East/West Sepik are to experience Above Normal daily rainfall. <br><br>

Above Normal daily rainfall is predicted for East New Britain and West New Britain with concentrated amounts over all of East New Britain Province. <br><br>

New Ireland will receive Above Normal daily rainfall with concentrated amounts over southern parts. <br><br>

Above Normal daily rainfall is forecasted for Manus Province. <br><br>

Above Normal daily rainfall is predicted for Bougainville with concentrated amounts over the northern most tip. <br><br>
