1 month forecasts for Daily Rainfall (mm/day) and its Anomalies

In February 2019, Western Province and Gulf will be having Normal daily rainfall. <br>

Central Province, Milne Bay and Oro are to experience Normal rainfall (mm/day). <br>

Above Normal daily rainfall is predicted for Morobe Province. <br>

There is a high probability for occasional flooding events in February 2019 over Madang Province due to predicted daily rainfall of significantly Above Normal. <br>

Above Normal daily rainfall (mm/day) for coastal areas of East Sepik while Normal rainfall (mm/day) is forecasted for inland areas. <br>

West Sepik is expected to experience Normal daily rainfall. <br>

Areas west of Hoskins, including Hoskins will experience Above Normal daily rainfall while areas to the east of Hoskins are to experience Normal rainfall (mm/day). <br>
Above Normal daily rainfall is predicted for Kokopo, including areas which are in the immediate vicinity of Kokopo. The rest of East New Britain to experience Normal daily rainfall. <br>
Above Normal daily rainfall is predicted for New Ireland Province.
It is worth noting here that, northern parts of New Ireland have high probability of experiencing occasional flooding events in February 2019. <br>



Manus to experience Above Normal daily rainfall. <br>

Normal daily rainfall is predicted for Bougainville. <br>

Normal daily rainfall is predicted for Southern Highlands Province.
Enga will experience Normal to Above Normal daily rainfall.
And the rest of Highlands Region will experience Above Normal daily rainfall. <br>

Normal daily rainfall is predicted for Western Province in March 2019. <br>

Gulf to Central Province will experience Above Normal daily rainfall. <br>

Above Normal daily rainfall is predicted for Fergusson Island, Normanby Island, Goodenough Island and Woodlark Island, including all Milne Bay Islands north of Woodlark Island. Rest of Milne Bay will experience Normal daily rainfall. <br>

Oro Province to Morobe will experience Above Normal daily rainfall. <br>

Above Normal daily rainfall, with significant degree of deviation from the average daily rainfall, is forecasted for Madang Province, thus, inducing high probability of occasional flooding events. <br>

Coastal areas of East Sepik too have high probability of experiencing occasional flooding events in March 2019 as a result of predicted rainfall (mm/day) to be significantly Above Normal. Inland areas of East Sepik will experience a fairly Above Normal daily rainfall. <br>

West Sepik Province to experience Above Normal daily rainfall. <br>

Above Normal daily rainfall is predicted for West/East New Britain Provinces including Bougainville. <br>


New Ireland and Manus Provinces will experience Above Normal daily rainfall. It is worth noting here that the degree of deviation from the normal daily rainfall is quite significant, thus, posing high probability for occasional flooding events over Manus and New Ireland in March 2019. <br>

Above Normal daily rainfall is predicted for almost all parts of Southern Highlands Province, however, places along the border (i.e., shared with Western Province) are expected to experience Normal daily rainfall.
The rest of Highlands Region will experience Above Normal daily rainfall with possibility of occasional flooding events over northern parts of Western Highlands and northern parts of Jiwaka. <br>

Normal daily rainfall is forecasted for Morobe Province. <br>
Madang Province will experience Above Normal daily rainfall in April 2019. There is still a high probably for occasional flooding events in Madang. <br>
East Sepik will experience Above Normal daily rainfall. <br>
Also Above Normal daily rainfall is expected over West Sepik in April 2019. <br>
All of Highlands Region to experience Normal daily rainfall. However, northern parts of Enga, Western Highlands and Jiwaka which are located along the shared border with East Sepik and Madang will experience Above Normal daily rainfall. <br>
Normal daily rainfall is predicted for West New Britain Province. <br>
Almost all of East New Britain will experience Above Normal daily rainfall. <br>
